If you create an account with Redactifi:

  • Subscription Details: Subscription status, type, and remaining redactions (free tier includes 10 redactions per month).
  • Usage Data: Number of redactions performed (for tracking usage limits on the free tier).

4.3 Technical Information

  • Browser Information: Basic browser details necessary for extension functionality.
  • Website Access: The extension only activates on supported AI platforms.
  • Cookies: Used for authentication and maintaining session state.

5. How Your Data is Processed

5.1 Local Processing

  • Text Analysis: All sensitive information detection occurs entirely on your device using our hybrid approach that combines AI-based entity recognition with pattern matching.
  • No External Transmission: Your message content is never sent to our servers for processing.
  • Temporary Storage: Text is temporarily processed in your browser's memory and is not persistently stored by our extension.

  • Redaction Count: Free-tier users have their redaction count stored to enforce usage limits.
  • No Message Content: We do not store message content or redacted information on our servers.
